IO Salt for sale

I'm only posting here because I'm only looking for local pick up only.

I have 3 buckets of new IO salt that I bought from Petsmart a while back.

If you are looking for IO salt, they are $35 for each bucket. Okay, I"m making 0.01 per bucket.

I made the switch to Oceanic and don't need the IO Salt.

Let me know.

Thanks
Jim

LOL.. I'm glad you haven't gone up as far as the gas prices.. if so, your salt would be like 80bucks for that bucket.

Nah, I'll leave that to Petco.

I'm only offering because: 1) You mentioned it. 2) It's sitting around my garage and I'm tired of looking at it. and lastly 3) I know many are trying to save some $$$ here and there and if they want the salt for what I paid for at Petsmart.com, then great.

If I don't get any takers soon, I'll just use them myself. I go through a bucket a month, so it's no big deal.

Jim

Lately I have been doing daily 30g water changes and this weekend I'm going to do another 60g water change follow by 3 30g water change in 4 days. So this should eat up a bucket of salt.

Then I'm going to retreat my prop system for the Red Bugs (so far none detected), but as a preventative measure, so that will require 90g water change follow by another 30 the next day.

So this is why I stock up on salt. I bought 14 buckets last summer and now I'm down to 6, but 3 already spoken for, so I have 3 left. But now that I switched over to Oceanic (and I bought 10 buckets from Advanced Aq), I really have the need for IO, but will us it if there are no takers.

Even if LFS wants to buy and resale it, I'm cool with that.

Oh the 60g this weekend is because I'm reducing my sandbed and the water changes will help reduce the ammonia spike. Forgot to mentioned that. Other than that, I'm not big on water changes.

Ahh... Cool beans... I do a water change once a week - sometimes I skip one... but 2-4 per month.

"What did the soup nazzie say".... "no soup for you"....
But since I'm not selling soup, you are always welcome. I'll take it you want me to clean the tanks too?

I think Piero is due to come over too... go over and tell him to stop playing Star Wars and get over here.

Must be fun to live so close to another reefer... I mean walking distance.
