I am brandon, I have 65gal cube, 24x24x25 and I am planning on plumbing in a small frag tank and a shallow monti tank...I have been in the hobby for about 10 years...but my step father has had a tank, since I met him when I was 4...so most of my life, at the ripe age of 24

Hi my name is Ryan and I have been into saltwater and reef tanks for about 3 years. I have had several tanks setup over the last couple years. I had a 75 then a 90G and now a 24G Aquapod. I still have the pod but i am getting ready to setup a 120G 4'x2'2' as my hopefully final resting place in my new house.
With the new tank Im gonna keep a mixture of corals but mainly SPS. I havent decided yet if Im gonna go with 250DE's or T5's that I already have the stuff for. I have a ASM G-3 that will be the skimmer for the tank. On the closed loop and the return I will be running a Dart. Pretty much the same as the previous owner had it setup. I will throw a couple Koralias I have in there also for some more flow!! Thats about it for now. Lets get this post going!! Later Ryan
VIVA LA PNWMAS on TRT!!

Hey I'm Scott I been a reefer for a couple of years now and worked at both LFS's here in Eugene. Not sure how much longer I'll be in the NW as I am graduating with my BS in Marine Biology this August.
My tank history has been mostly sofites, a few LPS and lots of zoas, but I have been adding some SPS to the mix and Im loving it. I want to try BB with SPS on the top with rics and zoas on the bottom and a torch as a fake anemone.

Introduce yourself...
Hello, my name is Jon Passmore. I have been into reefs for a couple of years now. I own a small but growing aquarium shop in Hillsboro. It has been run out of my garage for the past 4-5 years and I just moved it out to a new location on the corner of tv hwy and cornelious pass rd.
I have kept mostly softies at this point and would love to have someone help me get some SPS going. I love to learn and to share what I have learned.
I was a little shocked to see that so very few people were using this forum any more. There is some activity at PNWMAS web site but as slow as it is I figured people were still in this forum. Oh well, looks like a few of us anyway.

My name is Humpty. Pronounced with an Umpty! Or you could just call me Kevin.
I have been in the hobby for 8 years now. For the majority of that time I have specialized in seahorses and softies, but in the past two years have expanded into more corals and now have a reef tank as well.
My reef is a 65g. Mostly softies and LPS.
I recently tore down my 20g reef to setup a 30g seahorse tank. It keeps a few corals and mainly species of macro algaes.
I've been in Portland for a bit over a year now. Honestly don't come to TRT that much.

Glad to see you found somewhere to post too. I have had various kinds of aquariums setup on and off for about 30 years. I setup my first saltwater reef tank in 1996 and now have a 180 gallon mixed sps/lps system.

Hi my name is Chris. I live in the winter wonderland of Wisconsin (not so winter yet this year). I have a 120gal RR AGA with a 40gal AGA sump. I have had this set up for about three years now and would like to go bigger (some days) but I rent so even the 120 RR it is a chore to move at the end(s) of my lease. I also have two acrylic 45gal (I think they are 45gal, not really sure) as a frag tank system that I sell corals to local shops. Its it nothing over the top. It started why my sump could not hold the number of frags I had so I expanded. I may soon have to expand that system again unless the market picks up, just because everything grows so well. I am also piecing a 58gal RR Oceanic set up together as I come across equipment for it (trades/ purchases). That’s about it for me in the fish world. Thanks

My ivory tower comment to Nyles and then I told the mod that gave me the warning that it was crap...so I had a 72 hour ban and then they decided that I was a detriment to the club so they banned me permanently ...
Oh well...with mods like that, it is going to be tough for that club to keep going, it has failed once before...I am hoping that with who is in office now can turn it around...but we will see...
