Group order on 100 Micron poly bags

Was thinking about placing an order for a bunch of these... I need probably 7 of them

Felt Bags, Polypropylene, 32" x 7", 100 Microns $5.55
10+ $4.95

They also have some others as well
Nylon Monofilament Bags, 32" x 7", 100 Microns $9.65
10+ $8.70

http://www.aquaticeco.com/index.cfm/.../4399/cid/1243

We could get quite the deal on them ordering 10 or more... I have no Idea when I am ordering them... They work great for catching debris vefore going into the sump and also help wonders with mircrobubbles that are created from the overflow to the sump... I hope to order atleast my 7 by the middle of next week or so... BTW they can be washed so they are not disposable..

LMK,
James

16" deep would work as well... Why Got some in stock??? Wanna make me a good Deal? I would rather buy from you but last time I bought one locally it was like $16.00 And I cant afford that LOL... But its the only thing that fixes my Microbubble problem and with the 224g tank it seems to either be too old and clogs real quick Or just alot of stuff runs thru it and clogs it real quick...

LMK,
James

same question. i need to buy a few of these, and I cant really afford to pay $15.00+ each as i need to change my socks about 3 times a week (lynn is tired of me stealing hers!). Can you line us up on something reasonably priced R2?

R2, ive been using the one I got from you, it too clogs really quick. Even after a good solid bleaching and rinsing it will reclog and overflow in 24-48 hours. I pretty much bagged it (ha ha....)...

Is there something Im missing? I even ran it once with a filter floss prefilter,, still clogged, its almost like the stuff just grows in those little pores.

Joel.. What I have found that works best Is using them til they clog.. Turn them inside out wash them 2 or so times turn them back the right way and wash again... It helps but not much... I think its the volume... I have a 300 micron inside mine this time to see if it helps but I doubt it..

That's what they do after catching all that gunk. That's why I have 4 of them, change out every two to three days, turn them inside out, rinse them and wash them in the washer with bleach and a table spoon of detergent and of course must have that extra rinse on. Don't even have to dry them, once the spin cycle is done they are almost dry.

I got them from Marine depot for about $6 ea but if I can get some more, count me in.

R2 - whatcha got?

Yeah I figured that I would just get 7 of these since they were reasonably priced and have one for every day of the week... If needed... 32" really isnt needed but thats all they carry at that place and for the price what can I really loose... I am with everyone else.. I love supporting the Local shops so If you got something to offer cough up and Offer LOL... WE can do a Group order from you LOL...

i would be in for several, we might not want to tak too many more numbers here though, this is becoming whgat a mod might call a commercial thread (when you talk numbers and prices), and i don't want this to get deleted.

assuming that is the reason he sent out pms to us instead of posting :P

best to work this out in pm or at the meeting.

I'm going to allow it while reserving the right to change the ruling later if it is abused.
