Great Meeting!!!!!!

I just got done mounting the frags I got from the meeting and they look AWESOME. We all owe Tammy a special thanks for hosting the meeting at her home. Unfortunately, she lives too close to Waves, so I just had to stop buy and pick up a Derasa
clam. There were between 25-30 people present and we had a great discussion about different ways to cure/kill ick.

We had a GREAT frag trade and everyone went home with a few new items. Everyone was very generous and I appreciate all the wonderful new corals. I vote that ReefCam wins frag trader of the month. His frags were larger than most peoples colonies!!!

Thanks again to everyone for the hospitality and generosity.

P.S. Great beer Aaron. : )

See Ya next month.
Bryan

I agree with Bryan and Scott! It was a very good meeting and it was nice to meet some new folks. I'm glad you all had good luck with the frag trading...sigh, one of these days I'll be rid of the darn dinoflagellates in my tank and I can get in on the action too!

Thanks again to Tammy and Phil for being such a gracious hosts and I hope to see you all next month!

This is my very first post. I've been reading everyones post for awhile now. I can now put a few faces with some names.

Just wanted to say thanks for the nice comments on my tanks, especially since their not what you call reef tanks.

Thank you Alice, for the Torch. It has opened up, and looks great. Thanks Dave, for the mushroom, it is a cool color. Thanks to, I believe his name is Tom, for all those magazines. It was real nice of you to give me these things without anything in return. And I want to say sorry for hogging all the magazines. At the next meeting I will bring them so someone else can enjoy them.

Maybe we could all make our own name tags and where them at the next meeting. That way I might remember the guys name them gave me the 10 gallon and hood. THANKS

Well that's enough for my first post.

Can't wait for next month. I had a fantastic time. Thanks so much Tammy for your hospitality. your munchies - complete with punch - were above and beyond the call of duty, but the sign of a true mom with teenagers.

A special thanks to Kimber for the seed sand and the frag. The frag is really nice and really opened up quick in my tank.
Less I forget, thanks to Todd for the hardware he gave me at the meeting(saved me from buying some parts I was looking for).
It was a very impressive first meeting for me.I met alot of really nice reefers and got to talk about a bunch of things and issues about keeping a reef.

It was great meeting everyone for the first time. And Thank You Tammy and Phil for hosting the meeting. Boy was there a lot of people who showed up. I'm sorry I couldn't have stayed and met everyone. Felt real bad leaving so soon.

The trading was great. Thank you!!!!!

Aaron, the frags I got from you are doing great. Dave at DeepSea was disappointed that you couldn't make it. We'll have to talk about Montis next time.

Kimber, great to hear about the freshwater fish doing well. It was hard thinking that I will never see them again, but I rather see them go to a good home, than one that is neglected. Good to hear the frag is doing well. I'll spread like weed.

Piero, deReef, and company, Great to meet FTF. Gee now that everyone see the big frags, what did I do to myself??? I'll try to get frags that big for future. The frags that I brought were from a small colony that had to go. But unfortunately for me, a good part of the base didn't go, so it'll grow again for next time.

And thank you to Aaron, Scott, Scott W., Kimber, and others for the frags too.

See you on the next thread.

Thanks Tammy!

It was very nice of you to host, I'll just have to remember to get there early if I want a primo parking spot (then again, I don't plan on humping LR to every meeting either).
I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their presentations, it was very informative. I also wanted to thank everyone I traded with, everything is doing very well, even the mantis (which I've actually gotten to see once, he's been real busy carving a new home into the LR in his own private tank).
I'm really looking forward to next month's meeting, hope to see you all again!
