Going shopping.

On the 15th I will be heading up to the Tacoma area for some business and am wondering what are good reef shops in that area.

I remember Midway used to be an above average shop for fish and corals, but its been about 8 years since I have been in the area. Anyone know if they are still in business, have a website, are still decent, etc?

Not really wanting to drive as far north as Seattle, but I do remember a couple of shops in that area that were very good reef shops.
So anything south of Kent Wa that is decent would be added to my list of visitation spots.

Thanks in advance
Jim

i dont know about shops, but if it was me i would try to catch up with tess. always posting stuff for sale- equipment, livestock, etc. but is unable to post pics and doesnt ship... so a visit might be a chance to score some nice stuff.

maybe alice knows more about shops in that area.

Indoor Reef is in Tacoma and Aquarium Paradise is in Lakewood; both are worth a stop. I don't know if you want to head out east at all but Blue Sierra in Issiqua is a nice store.

I would post over in http://www.reeffrontiers.com/ Possibly in the PSAS forum.. That area is pretty local to them so they would probably be able to point you to the best places without any wasted time..

Oh, and Midway isn't exactly above average these days but sometimes they have good prices on fish.

I would check out indoor reef in tacoma and midway has pretty amazing prices on thier corals but they usually sell pretty fast. Blue seiria is awesome as well with tons of stuff always in stock. And if you do decide to go up to seattle coral beauty is amazing! www.mycoralbeauty.com
