Well I think it is about time I intruduce myself to the club since I have been reading and posting here since the summer. I have enjoyed my experiences thus far and would like to attend a couple meetings if it dosen't conflict with my schedule in the near future.
My name is Rob and I live in Vancouver Wa. I was actullay raised in Portland and attended Roosevelt high school. I have been keeping saltwater fish-corals off and on for about 10 years. I was sucked into the hobby like most of you. The first reef tank you ever saw was all it took to get you hooked.
I consider myself a multi faceted person as I enjoy a wide variety of past times. I have built and flown many RC planes, and I'm a member of the (AMA). I have flown a wide variety of aircraft. The P-57 Mustang, and most warbirds are my favorite planes to fly, along with the more advanced stunt-aerobatic planes such as the Hots, and the Sequoy. I also enjoy painting on canvas when I have time.Too many hobbies, not enough time in a day.
The majority of my time I enjoy spending with my family. I'm a father of 4 so free time for me is something of a treat. I like getting the kids involved in my hobbies, but really don't like any of them sticking their hands in the reef tank
So my 14 year old son has his own 10 gal. nano to take care of.
I look foreward to my continued educational experience with the PNWMAS, and look foreward to meeting some of you at future meetings and events. Thanks for putting up with my posts thus far and offering me all of the great feedback. Talk to you all soon
