on a side note, if you are using the german 3 piece endcaps with the standoffs, that is a very secure way to hold the lamps in. unless 4 screws back themselves out of the wood mysteriously, then you will be hard pressed to find a better solution. the clips are, sadly, prone to breaking, so if that is what is holding up your tubes, you could be in trouble in the long run should the clips fail.
if you are trying to go budget and use less expensive endcaps, seek out woody's used vho sockets first. by the time you buy the clips, and the cheaper sockets, you can have the good stuff gently used. aside from the seals which could be worn (which you can visually inspect) there is a very low failure rate on the 3 piecers, and they do a superior job of keeping moisture out of the ends.
you are looking for these (only a bit bigger, these are sized for t5's, but otherwise look identical). woody has them in the back room where the frozen food fridge is, they are on the wall to your left as you are deciding what kind of brine to buy.
make sure you get the standoffs, and that the gaskets are sized right for vho. when we were digging though there there were some that were for t8's which is not what you want.
