Cool

February Meeting!

Hi Everyone! February's meeting will be on the 17th. We still need a place to hold the meeting so lets get some ideas rolling. Does anyone want to volunteer to have the meeting at their house?

I am going to start a "frag trade" thread so if anyone wants to trade some frags please post them there.

Anyone? My turn's coming up this summer when we can hold a meeting at least partly outdoors; my house is just too darn small. If we don't get a volunteer, does anyone know of a good location to meet?

Does Sean still work at Waves? Everytime I call out there, he's not in. Maybe I need to disguise my voice and call from a pay phone, lol.

I think he'd probably still like to host a meeting however, he did say when I spoke to him before that it would have to be before or after business hours.

I'm still open to suggestions for location. I'll send out an email but if anyone can come up with anything, please let me know. As much as I would like to host the meeting, it's just not possible for me at this time.

Also, does anyone have a suggestion for a topic? Maybe a question, theory or technique that we could all research and then compare notes?

Alice

I came up with 2 suggestions - one is more online related.
1) Bookmark exchange. I am always curious what other people find bookmark worthy. We could all post the most interesting site you have found (marine related) - Check out what others have posted, then talk about them at the meeting.
2) What food you use and why?

I would volunteer to host the meeting but my tank is just not ready for company yet. Maybe the March meeting.

Good Ideas Kimber!

I would love to host the meeting but I don't think you guys want to travel 50 miles up the gorge this time of the year to have our meeting Maybe this summer though If anyone else would like to "host" a meeting let us know! Aaron put your hand down

Iwill talk to Alice and see if we can get Waves to host the meeting like Dennis suggested. The way we buy up stuff after meetings a store would be crazy not to host a meeting for us

I did the rounds today hunting for something new for my tank and I mentions to the shops that the group is in need of a meeting place for this months meeting. Upscales said "uhmm I don't know", Soutas said "have Alica come to the shop and talk to me" Waves I forgot to ask because I was hooking someone up to the group. And Coral Visions said that they might be able to do it. So Alice or Scott you might give them a try.

by the way - has anyone been to Soutas lately? He has an AWESOME pink - bright pink - ricordea. But it's not for sale.
