Dual TDS Meters

Ok so did everyone get there TDS meters hooked up. What were your readings? I was happy to find that my output was lower that expected, since my roomies drink my Ro water like camels. I had 17ppm input and 0 ppm output. I was about to replace my ro since I thought it was getting old. Guess I can use it a bit longer. I am going to leave the new one 100 Gpd hidden from the roomies and allow them to drink from the old one 10 gpd.

you welcome. Water in Oregon is better than other states, so the DI is almost optional for most of us. Folks in MN for example have water with 600+ TDS reading and imagine what it is for CA folks. So the DI is almost not required.

15 in, 0 out. Oak Lodge water dist. And my RO filter is almost 3 yrs old. DI media is still fresh looking after 6 months. I estimate about 7000 gallons+ thru this RO in last 2.5 yrs.not bad...

If you still have your hand held meter, i would use it to verify the inline meter as well. There's nothing worst than having a meter reporting a false value.
