do any lfs buy gsp in portland area?

i posted in general forum.. but i was told to try and trade them locally. they are growing like crazy and i cant peel them off the rocks. i basically have to sell the larger parts with the whole rock which sux because ill have to buy more live rock. anyway.. does anyone know of shops or people that would trade for it? i have alot now and im afraid it will start stinging other corals if i dont get rid of some of it.

You might check with Waves.. They might just trade you lb for lb on liverock and maybe a bit of credit.. Who knows... Probably about your best bet..

ela: I think Woody at Seahorse Aquarium can help, he has done similiar trades to the one James has described above...

Put em under MH lighting, that will stop em from growing. I have some in my tank, completely covering a 3 lbs rock. Switched to MH, and they have started to die off. It looks like the matt gets brittle and just disintigrates.

Well GSP are peaceful so no need to worry about them stinging other corals.
