Cyanide


What precent of fish on the market today have been cyanide caught?

well due to acts agianst cyanide fishing id say maybe 10-15% maybe less maybe more

It is decreasing all the time...Unfortunatly there isn't much way to control whether or not they end up at the LFS since the owner/operators never really know where their wholesalers are getting stuff. Must large reputable wholesalers these days make an effort to steer clear of the cyanide fish if they are aware of it.

Thanx, Im really not a newbie, I have been bumping around many forums for a while but never registered on one. I kinda like this one.
Anyways, The reason i started this thread is, when i had my fish shop, which i sold in the begining of the year, i noticed that fish orders from different countrys would have a noticeable survival rate. I would like to know peoples opinon on it.

Welcome... to answer the question, you will find the worst survival from indonesia and the phillippeans. best from local in HA, and FL. and then australia and the red sea are usually good too.
