Congrats Nikki....
The frys will quickly get eaten by the father, mother and any fish near by. What I have done in the past was to catch the frys and quickly transfer them to an isolated tank.
In a tank environment where we have mechanical devices for creating flow, there is a high probability the frys will end up in the overflow,
CLS pump impeller and so on. I have found only 2 - 5 frys survive out of 30 if left unattended.
For 100% survival, you will need to catch the father just before the frys are released or catch each fry as they are release. THe release time can vary so you will need to watch the dad for a while. Mine seem to release them after the lights are out.
You will then need to transfer them to an isolated tank and feed them
baby brine shrimps. It's best to tie a separate tank to your tank so the water is the same when you transfer them to another tank. I had a separate tank that I can add during this period to house the baby and it was connected to my main tank water. As you catch the baby, make sure you do not expose them to air or take them out of the water. I have found this is an instant death for the frys.
Other than that, they are good to go.
