Baffles

Good mornin' ya'll. This weekend, I got a 40 gallon acrylic tank to use as sump, and plumbed in a larger return pump. In all my excited of having more flow and doing all the plumbing "just right". I forgot to think about MICRO BUBBLES!! I know it need some sort of baffles in my sump but dont really want to, or have the time this weekend now to disassemble the sump and install baffles. Does anyone have any suggestions on some baffles I can install while the sump is in place? I'll post some pics soon if that will help any.

What exactly are you looking for? I have some plastic/plexi pieces that you can have but I'll have to measure to get the exact size. Be right back....

my sump is 15" wide and 16" deep, so I would need something more like 15"x10". Thanks for the offer.

Just thinking it might be possible to be glued together or something, sorry it won't help.

I dont think gluing them will hold, I have about 1000 gph going through the system now.

Well I managed to install some baffles in the sump by draining the sump, drying the sides and then "hot gluing" 3 baffles into the sump and then refill it. 99 % of the micro bubbles are gone now, I am hoping the rest will disipate in the next couple of days. I also built a "frag rack" by gluing two pieces of eggcrate at 90 deg. angle and then clamp it to the inside of tank about 6" under the surface, I will try to post pics as soon as I can find my camera. I think I left it on my boat which is still in Newport.
