I've growing some
Nannochloropsis
Here's a short description ripped off from DT's website:

DT's Live Marine Phytoplankton previously contained only one species of Nannochloropsis ( N. Oculata), a very small species @ 2-3 microns. Some reef inhabitants that feed on phytoplankton consume larger cell sizes, and although a very nutritious species, the small cell size of N. oculata could limit the number of animals that are fed.

Turns out that I didn't read the (ah hem) fine print on the fertilizer "Mass Pack" I bought. The part where it says that the pack makes 10,000 liters - or 2,500 gallons.
So I was thinking about boiling up a gallon or so. If you want some - I'd hope that you'd bring an empty container and we'll either split it up between everybody, or if you're the only one that wants some we can just swap containers.
I kinda need to know like this week, cause it'll take awhile to grow into some sort of density that'll be useful. It looks like just plain ole green water, and it should have a SG of 1.025. So, in theory, you just pour the stuff in. You could remove a like amount of water to maintain SG if you wanted (I do).
I doubt that this stuff would keep for anything like a day or two - unless you wanted to start your own culture setup. And that's a topic of another thread/time.
