Anyone Know Where To Get Pickling Lime?

Has anyone seen Mrs. Wage's or Ball brand pickeling lime in the Portland area? Walmart use to carry it but, I guess we are kinda out of canning season. If you happen to have seen it around, let me know.

Thanks!!
Dennis

I use to use Ball's- and the gunk at the bottom was a mess to clean up between refills. I am using ESV Kalkwasser in the 4lb jug and it's clean hardly and residue, the stuff is a very fine powder.

Dennis, call Sheridan Fruit Company in SE Portland (About Stark and MLK); they used to carry it year round.

heck, I can bring you a container of it to the meeting if you like. My mom bought like 4 or 5 of them, I've got plenty to spare.

If you are buying a Case it would be better to buy it online.. www.mrswages.com Its like 1.85 per bag and like a flat 3.00 shipping fee I believe.. Check it out.. Shipping to me only took like 5 days i believe.. I checked everywhere in portland that I could think of with no luck.. I didnt not check the place that alice mentioned though..
