that you would be willing to part with. I just got my reactor set up when I got ready and opened the tank I heard and felt something excaping from the regulator around the back. Now I am no expert but that did not seem good or right, so I closed the cylnder and unhooked it. So that is why I am searching for a regulator. I have seen the ones on ebay and around the shops, but I dont have the extra cash for that right now and did not want to wait to get the one I would perfer. I will buy the better one as soon as I can, just wont be soon enough.

that may have been the over pressure release valve if your reg is a dual gauge model... if you do not crack the first reg valve before you open the tank it will cause the overpressure valve to vent... safety mechanism. of course your reg could also be busted, but it is something to check.
