Acropora ID??

Can anyone tell me what this piece of acropora is? I'll put up a pic tommorow, but for now..

The coloring is CRAZY! It looks just like a pearl essence paint, like on cars, all purple, blue, green... but with that pearl sheen.

Its branching coral, and has really fuzzy brown polyps

If anyone knows what it is I would be REALLY appreciative. No one, not even the guy I got it from can tell me what it is.

I can't really tell from the picture, if you want to mail me a frag i will mount it up and compare it to my books for you :P

you might try posting it in the reef forum here, or try to eric borneman forum over on reef central, or the sps forum for that matter. without a clearer picture, and with my very limited knowledge, i regret to report that i can't help youi at this juncture (unless of course you give me aforementioned frag!).

If i make it to a meeting, I'm going to bring 4 or 5 frags from this coral to trade/sell.
