Zoanthus Species in BB tank?

Is it possible to keep zoanthids in a BB-tank? I'm sure they will survive, but will the reproduce and have nice colors? I can imagine that a lot of flow, light and low nutrients don't keep them happy... Any experiences?

I would like to keep a lot of SPS with zoanthids around it on the bottom. Will the zoanthids effect the growth of the SPS? And will they attack it?

Thank you,

Leonardo

I have Zoas groing in my egg crate bottom. They love the flow, in fact the frags that got the most flow are the ones that grew the best.

I have a bunch also. They do awesome. I just posted this same question on another board and everyone said no problem. The yellow polyps are stingers, so keep those by themselves.

They won't hurt the SPS but typically won't grow as fast in the low nutrient high light conditions we strive for. That being said mine are going fine, just not growing like the ones in my 7g nano

All corals and most fish and inverts can be kept in a BB tank
