It was one of those typical BB vs. DSB threads where things got heated. Something about how even discussing rock cooking and BB tanks was corrupting the delicate sensibilities of newbies. A whole bunch of people got booted, on both sides of that argument.

Let me guess, Greg S was involved. It sounds right up his ally.

Could be. I didn't keep close track of all the events leading up to it, but the "Is this LR doomed?" thread was the final straw. That was Feb 9, 2006.

Nevermind I found out who it was. One by one that BB will fall. With all the experienced reefers being lost all of the "experts" can mold their clones.

Clones

Does anyone know SeanT personally? Like I mean have is phone number? It would be nice if someone rang him up and made sure he is alright. This has been a long time to be away and not even check in to say hi.

If he got booted that sux and just goes to show how closed and or narrow minded some keepers can be to argue and or refuse to beleive that cooking and BB works.I have done both and had both BB and SB.They both work and can make great tanks.

See how easy that was to be open minded.

Running a BB is tough at best. I don't know if it is being narrowminded, so much as keeping the peace. The hardest part of that is trying to be fair.

I think he posted recently over at RC in the SPS keepers forum in the "Another one bites the dust" thread by 64 Ivy, and the "About sand bed" thread by annienl. I assume that's the SeanT you're referring to.
