What type of drain covers to use in BB

looking for what type of screening I can use to cover my drains and CLM Bulk head. I thought about using fiberglass screening or even gutter guard but I think gutter guard is too big, some snails might get thru. what do you guys use that doesn't elevate nitrates?

thanks

Am I right in thinking that socks will raise nitrates if not cleaned very often?

There are black plastic threaded bulkhead covers you can pickup, they are a few dollars, I think those work the best.
