How often do you guys do wc's? I'm going on 4 weeks now in my nano, which is very unusual for me - but I've been extremely busy with Physics and vet school applications... not that this is good practice, but my tank looks just as clean as it did in the beginning and some of the corals are coloring up very nicely. This is the thing though - I skim very wet. So when I dump out the skimmate I replace it with an equal amount of saltwater. So in a sense, I'm doing very small waterchanges every other day, but the water I'm dumping out is much more concentrated in waste than it would be with a normal water change. Anyways, just curious if this is normal. Perhaps I should plan on doing wc's only once a month with this tank.

I do wc 25% a week.But you add saltwater as your top-off???That will raise your Salinity!Hope your testting it!

oh no, if I did that in my size tank the corals would be dead already. I use kalk water for top off. I use fresh saltwater to replace skimmate though. 25% a week huh? You make me feel guilty. I will definitely do a water change next week
