UV Ques

Hey all just a quick ques im assuming a good amount of you guys are running a uv sterilizer on your tank. Ive done some research and it seems like a good idea. Im setting up a 72 bow what size uv should i have and what kind of flow through it ?

25 watt minimum , and somewheres around 500 g.p.h. i am assuming you want to use it as a clarifer . doesn't take much exposier time to kill off algae cells , longer dwell time for parasites .

I personally would go with the emperor aquatics 40W unit, and about 500 GPH flow through it.
