Whiskey you are thinking of the 7091 single controller.

The 7094 was the old multi controller replaced by the newer style 7095 controller.

I stand corrected; it was a 7094/7095.

Why they can't name things and avoid this whole problem?
For the price I expect a name, not a number!

I guess Tunze isn't the only german or non-german company to use numbers as models. But, yes Whiskey, I agree it would defintely make things easier.

Hi everyone, When do you (not) know you have too much flow and can't bring whats on the bottom to the overflow?
I have 2 6100 on a multi-controller, in a 46G. They are the only wave makers I have in there. I get very good turbulent flow in the upper half of the tank, but can't seem to bring detritus to the overflow. And if I had them pointing at the bottom, they land on the rocks instead. Is there a way one could do without having to add more when you think its really alot of flow already. Thnx.

To keep the detritus off the bottom in my tank, I faced 3 SEIO 820's directly down; therefore blowing the current downt he back wall underneath all the rock, then up into the main flow of my closed loop and Tunzes. Little bit of an eyesore, but, as my corals grow, I notice them less and less.

In terms of too much flow, as long as you direct it so it's not ripping the tissue of your corals off, I think you'll be ok. Although, 2 6100's in a 46 is a lot. Maybe get a Tunze magnet holder and place one 6100 lower in the tank, rather than on the bracket(assuming you're using that)

Rutz81, thnx. Yup, one particular coral looks abraded from it. If I were to lower it, the fish don't like it, esp at nite.

Just an up date in case anyone was waiting on a reply...
I recieved my sescond Tunze 6100 Transformer today, got it installed and I would defintely say that it is not too much flow. Nor am I saying that I could use more flow. For now it seems about right. In total I have: 2x SEIO 820, 2x Seio 620, 2x Tunze 6100, and a CL with two penductors run by a Mak 4, as well as my Mag 7 return pump.

Sorry to dig up such an old thread but are you saying you can take a 6000 Streams pump and connect it to a 6100 transformer/control box and make the 6000 a 6100?
