11. BB-ers didn't read all the aquarium how-to books, like me, and instead are getting their setup advice from a web forum instead.... poor suckers.

I think what happens a lot is that aquarists new to reefkeeping buy lots of books on how to set up a reeftank, research and study as much as they can and start idolizing folks like Calfo, Fenner and Sprung.
After they have set up their tank exactly as instructed by these authors (DSB, fuge, and oh all that glorious life on their LR) they go reading web forums and find a bunch of folks discussing BB reefkeeping methods and think to themselves "these poor chumps haven't read all the books and researched reefkeeping the way I have and are being taken in by this silly Internet fad" and the result is a bunch of guys who have only had a reeftank for a year or so debating against BB-ers with years of experience running both DSB and BB tanks.

A great place to talk shop/BB without being ridiculed (sp?) and flamed, I like it a lot.
