I am not Sean, but I beleave the temp was 212, boiling. For the top ten miscocenptions list I submit
1. BB tanks are unstable
2. Rock cooking kills everything
3. You can get a desise from cooking your rock

This is why I only talk on TRT. What works for you might not work for me but if it works for you thats good! I want learn more about BB and how they work I use CC now but it works.

8.Husbandry this and husbandry that.You dont need a BB if you practice propper husbandry  Why didnt I think of that before I tore down my tank to cook and go with Starboard

When I "cook" the temp can range from the 50's to the 90's.
But I am not concerned with any die-off as I generally "cook" some skanky rock.
If you want to perserve as much life as possible then keep it as close to reef tank temps as you can.
