Question for spanky


ok, i am getting my pm bulllet3 and i want to know what modifications you have done with yours to make it more effective.

Ryan, I think Mike did all the mods to the new ones. Mine was one of the first ones that he made, so he had to help me make it work better.
Got a picture of the new one??

I am not Spankey but I can tell you what I did to mine.

* Raised Beckett 12" via a stand pipe.
* Removed 90 degree elbow and used a piece of flex hose to go straight into the beckett.
* Removed the ball valve air control and added a needle valve for more precise control.
* Added a carbon air filter to the intake.
* diy'd a 5 gallon bucket as an auto shut off.

Most of the those ideas came from some guy name bomber and really make the skimmer rock solid.

That's what I have also, bullet 3 with the Iwaki 70 RLT. It truly took a few months for the thing to calm down! Now I can tweak it right to the edge of the skimmate collection cup...truly an awesome skimmer, I am very happy with it and have not experienced anything easier to clean! I hope you are just as happy with yours!
