Possible tear-down/move question

So now that my tank is just beginning to mature, the house is up for sale and Im planning to build new.....Its already been decided that the new house will have a built-in tank, at least 100 gallons.....So when the time comes my few fish will find new homes, and everything will go into storage....So whats the best thing to do with the rock? Should I just cook, cook, cook? Or store it dry and dead and then seed it with new rock when I rebuild?? Thoughts??

How long will it be stored? 6 months, a year, 2 years? If 6 months, I would cook it as that is about how long it would take to properly cook it (possibly longer). If a year, I would probably dry it out until about 6 months before I got ready for it and then cook it. Either way, I would cook it before using it in a new tank.
