Ok, here goes nothing!

I tore down the 16 gal today. Im going BB. Tired of fighting the algae, nitrates and not to mention the smell. Any advice and or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Especially quick ones because the tanks still empty.

No pvc racks. I really wasnt prepared to start a project like this on a Sunday. Once i got far enough to realize that it was too late. I think its gonna work out great though. I'll have a couple pix ready in about 20 min

Ok, here it is all back together. I took zxcv123's advice with the powerhead facing straight down righ behind the rocks. It works perfectly. It keeps all the dirt blown out to the edges where i can suck it up easily. I think this is gonna be the best thing that happend to this tank. I dont wanna get my hopes up though
I need to get a background on there and clean the glass, and i'll be all set

Flow flow flow, skim skim skim I guess that is how I have based my last several projects. You will be amazed at how much flow you can actually get going in a tank.

I have a MJ 400 up top, and a MJ 600 behind the rocks pointing straight down. I also have a small HOB filter to run carbon in, and then theres the skimmer. Do you think I should have more flow? I love the tank this way by the way. I think it looks soooo much better. Especially how the bottom looks like a mirror.

Here it is after the water has calmed down and the corals arent so upset anymore. I hope it stays like this now. Im half tempted to tear down the 46 and do the same thing with it!
