Ok so it has been a while. And before you give me the "THIS THREAD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT PICS" line, I am at work so cant get the pics til this afternoon
I have a ton of SPS in the system now, and I did get my schuran reactor set up. Of course it was doing was too well and my alk went from 6.7 to 12 in less than a few days and fried a few of my week SPS. Luckily I am not keeping anything rare, but still hate to lose them.
But
coraline algae has REALLY taken off and filling the bottom starboard as well as all the rocks. I mean I have rocks that were pretty much
base rock that are covered with it now. So I know the reactor did its job. Still fine tuning it all, but overall I am happy with the direction of the tank. I took my UV sterilizer off line and will use it on my FISH holding/QT tanks that are separate from my main system. I think it will be more useful there than on my main system. I am also going to start using Zeovit just to see how it does, and I know to go slow so no need to preach me on it
I'll get some pics up later of the corals etc, and I am going to post on our sponsor thread some good deals we will be having.
