Hi Pito,

The tank has been up for 6 months or so. We clean it often The bottom pane has become quite a chore to keep clean, so we are considering adding a thin layer of sand that will be changed monthly... still not sure, we love BB.

To prevent too much coraline growth we keep calcium levels ~380-410ppm.

Other than that if you search around I know some reefers are using the method. There are a few threads on RC regarding carbon dosing in the SPS Forum where it is mentioned. I could not find the exact thread, but if you dig around I am sure it's there.
