Need help with sump ideas

I will be limited to about 24 x 24 inches of floor space in my stand for my sump. I want to maximize the amount of water I can have yet still have enought room to add a CR.

Any ideas on how to I should go about this?

thats a tough one ! i'm not sure about the foot print of an 18 gallon rubbermaid tub , but i do know its less than 24 " wide . then make a shelf across the tub to set your calcium reactor on . guess we need to know how much room you have height wise also

I don't know if you have the option, but I pushed my tank forward (twice, ) it gave me enough room to get a larger sump and more room to get my hands to the mechanics, so to speak.
