Yup, thats because lots of softies thrive in dirtier tanks...or higher nutrient driven tanks. If a BB tanks is properly set up, the nutrient level should be very low, thus causing the softies to not do so well.

Yea, that kinda makes sense. My nitrates are at 5 right now. With a PBT I'm not sure if I can keep them any lower then that on a constant basis.

Low nitrates? A Hikk RDSB  If not, then water changes will keep the nitrates down.

I've got 2 tangs and a huge foxface in my 150 and I havent had a readable nitrate level in over a year. I bet you get there pretty soon (I feed daily at least).

Thanks =) It's nice to see you too it's been forever!
Everyone is doing really good. Ocean (PBT) is happy as ever. I think the only fish I've added since the last update is a Midas Blenny. Other then that I've just added a few small things like crabs and shrimp. Few new corals too. I will post an updated list with photos of the tank.
