My 4mo old 180bb
Here she is after 4 months with corals and 5 total from when I added the cooked rock. Everything is from frags with the exception of a couple very small colonies and the LPS. I just added two 1" SeaSwirls - one to each of the two Darts that I have running CL. One Darts outlets blow across the bottom, and the other runs an OM and the outlet top center (the ugly one). I was really underusing the full power of those awesome pumps.
I have to say that BB is THE way to go. I have better components now, but the maintenance is easy and is almost always the same if I stay on top of it, which all of us obsessive compulsive purveyors of BB reefs do.
OK, I forgot to upload most of the pics before I left for work, so here's one.

woow, I really like your rockwork. Nice Light also... Which bulbs do you use?
btw, what species is that sphere-shaped coral on the bottom?

Thanks y'all!
I run three 400se Reeflux 12k in Lumenarc III. Coralvue ballast on the outside and PFO in the middle, 6 hours each, staggered 2 hours from left to right.
The round coral on the bottom is an 8" favia.
I am actually unhappy with the rockwork. I had a big dip in the middle right so I wouldn't have the solid wall thing happening. As I added my corals, I lost the whole valley. Many of my corals were encrusted on big rocks and I didn't have the cojones to cut the corals off and reattach.
I have a 6-10" space behind the rock for cleaning which is awesome to have. I have been putting zoos along the bottom back wall that you can see if you look through the arches on the bottom of the rockwork. I'll get some more pics if I can get a day off work.

Very nice! You should post an update in the BB photo thread.

Thanks! I still can't shoot macros of the stonies w/o them being blurry, which is unfortunate since they are my favorite.
I change about 20g per week by siphon using 1:1 IO and Oceanic. I siphon 15 out of the display and 5 out of the frag tank and sump. I change carbon every 30 days and Phosban every 45. Scrape glass once per week. Clean the skimmer every other day. I feed the fish and look for stress in them or the corals, and check the controller twice a day.
