I don't see a lot of week-to-week change, but over the course of months, the growth is obvious.

What I ment was, I had been meaning to ask how it was doing for a couple of weeks, not specifically how much it had growen in the last couple of weeks.
It looks like it is doing really well, congrats. I don't know anything out trading, except that you can make money faster than Vegas,... and loose it just as fast. I've got a 401K with a couple of bucks on it, and that is on the market, but I don't play with that, I don't want to mess it up.

Good choice.
I got into options trading in 1995. Learned all about the statistical theory and pricing models. It is interesting stuff, if you're into that sort of thing. But it isn't an easy, get-rich-quick, quit-your-job-and-play-golf-all-day sort of deal (in spite of what is claimed in some of the commercials you see on TV).

I've been following along Jack, I had bookmarked your Blog awhile ago, and have been following ever since. Options trading can make Vegas look like a kindergarten Wiskey.
I'm glad your tanks are doing good and that you're happy with the results of switching from NSW. Do you think there was correlation with last year's storms and the quality of the water you were being sold? Probably some kind of contaminant or something?

I think so. The effect of swapping out nearly all the NSW for IO in my 120 was so immediate I didn't believe it, initially. Now that it has been about four months, I don't have any doubt anymore.
Just too many hurricanes in 2004 and 2005 washed a whole bunch of junk from the Miami metro area into the ocean. Now that things have settled down for the past nine month, it may be ok to switch back to NSW, but I don't want to bother with it anymore.

Isn't the NSW that is close to the shore more polluted and higher in micro organisms than what would be found in a reef system close to the equator? Maybe experiment with using a mix for 6 months at least and log the changes.
What is your Magnesium level? Calcium isn't used efficiently by your stonies if they can't process it - low mag levels inhibit this.

Another success story..
This little guy was put into my 120 about the same time I started the switch from NSW to IO. It browned out and hadn't done much, so I put it up on top of some rocks near the overflows in the back of the tank. Within the past few weeks it has started to grow, and grow fast. Not sure what the trigger was, but it's nice to see it doing ok, and getting some powder blue highlights. Maybe I'll be able to cross over that "acro barrier" after all.

Wow, those new growth tips look an entirely different color. I'm happy for your success crossing over that acro-barrier! I've yet to do that, but seeing it can be done sure helps!
