It is important to do this if you have to dose in large amounts.
Any input about my lighting options?

yes the 400 watter = overkill ! plus the heat issues from it .

I got 400w. Agree as big time overkill for a BB tank! I find I only have them on @30 minutes, and try to do this a few times during the day. They heat the tank and surrounding area tremendously which gets you into fans and chillers...I bet with clear water you probably only need 150MH's - but that's a whole nuther subject, lol.

Today I made a blender-mush for my corals. I trew in everything I got:
Lobster eggs
Bosmiden
Artemia
Mysis
And 1/4 teaspoon of Spirulina-powder.
After I rinsed everything very good, I blended it. The result was a brown soup. No large particles anymore, it's almost liquid-like.
I'm going to feed this every night, I'm curious if I see some changes...

Spanky handed me the soution for my suffering SPS; Increase your bioload. And that is what I am doing.
The tanks is still a little messy, I have to mount some of the frags that are lying around
Some pictures of the new inhabitants, and some other pictures.
Hope you like it,
Leonardo
