Are you still dosing the Prodibio? Just wanted to know your experience with it. I was thinking about starting it myself.

At startup I dosed 4 ampuls of Biodigest, and from now on 1 ampul per month. My cycling went very smoothly. Almost no algae, and NO3, PO4 both zero (while I feed my fungia ) But ofcourse I can't 100% garanty that Prodibio was responsible for that...
I'm curous what the other products can do for my tank and corals, I'll try that in the future I think.

SPS(BB)! Your PM box is full, you need to clear it out so I can answer your question .
Great work Leonardo! I can't wait to see it with all your new frags!

I've been able to make some pictures. I bought 2 fishes today...
- Acanthurus Guttatus
- Siganus Guttatus
I know, the're both named guttatus
The tang is very small (not even 2 inches), so the tank will be big enough for him for the following 2 years.
I made some Full Tank shots too. The rockwork is very open, to give detritus no chance. I also wanted to create enough swimming space for the acanthurus.
On the low island I'll place branching SPS, like Acropora Yongei, Acropora Formosa etc.
On the higher islands will be plate-forming SPS, and some LPS pieces.
Also attached are photos of the corals I currently have. The Fungia was bought 2 weeks ago and is becoming bright green. It's colouring up very nice. The other photo, a Palythoa species, is suffering from too much light and too less nutrients. (was bought as a test-piece for water quality)
I hope you enjoy the photo's and please don't hate me for the acanthurus.

goodness -- when those corals fill in, you're gonna be happy about that open rock scape.
Beautiful! Very cool to also see non-traditional fish.

Thank you KK! I see the rock as the base for the corals. I want to grow large colonys that can grow about 14 inch high. I like the reef tanks with less corals, and larger colony's...
A quick question. The rabbitfish doesn't seem to like the current at all... (51 turnover) Swimming up and down the glass in one corner.
When I turn the Tunze Stream off (feed-mode) he swims around the tank etc. Any experiences, comment maybe?
Thanx, Leonardo

My rabbitfish (doliatus/virgatus hybrid) is pretty bad at swimming, too. Ive had him for about 2 months now and I cant say he's improved. I have 65x turnover in my 90g
In fact, he just seems like a very stupid fish compared to the others, but he loves to eat.
I know weatherman also has a rabbitfish with tons of turnover, maybe he can chime in.

I guess if all you eat is algae, you are well armed, and you flee at the slightest hint of danger, you don’t have to be very smart.
My virgatus rabbit doesn’t have any problems with strong water flow, but does spend a fair amount of time pacing back and forth or up or down along the front glass. I have always attributed that to the tank being too small for the fish.

The fish is about 4 1/2" in length, and the tank is 120 gallons (4' x 2' x 2').

Thanks for the update. Looking good
That Siganus you have looks like a beauty
I have 30 times in tank circulation at the moment. Doesn't sound like much, but occasionally when a piece of Nori is near one of the 2 x 6000 Tunze's, my tiny Siganus gets stuck on the intake
Thankfully, I've been at home when that happens, and I've been able to switch the Tunze's into feed mode, and he can swim away
I'll be going to 52 times in tank circulation this month (2 x 6100). That will make things more interesting.

Weatherman, my signatus is also about 4 1/2" I hope that he will get used to the current...
The acanthurus on the other hand is a real acrobat. In nature he lives in the surge zone of the reef. He really surfs on the current in my tank. A real contrast with the signatus
Mark, sounds like a real signatus... I don't know if it will work with the 2x 6100. Please let me know what your experiences are
Soon I'll put another Tunze Stream, a 6200, in my tank. Another 5283 Gallon/hour! My rabbitfish is already scared
