gman: yours appears to be the doliatus, not the virgatus. (prettier than the virgatus!)

I sure does.

So, we got to see all the combinations:

Mine: Virgatus
King-Kong: Virgatus/Doliatus hybrid
gman: Doliatus

The more squiggly blue lines it has, the more likely it is to be a Doliatus. The more circular blue dots it has, the more likely it is to be a Virgatus.

(and yes, I agree, Doliatus are prettier)

Ok, back on topic again. My Tunze streamer 6100 + controller has arrived. I've also ordered a Tunze Wavebox. After testing with my return pump and the streamer 6100 I came to the conclusion that I need more flow. I'll try to post pictures soon.

Hello, I have a little update again. I custom build a HQI pendant +t5 pendants. The whole pendant is cooled by a PC-fan.

The HQI pendant is a Aqua Medic Aquaspacelight 250 Watt
The T5's are 2 Aqua Connect 2x24 Watt with Giesseman bulbs. (4 bulbs total)

Because pictures are saying more than words I've attached some pics.

Wavebox will arrive tomorrow, and the liverock will come end of the month!

Please leave a comment or suggestion...

Very nice! It is really comming along. I think your corals will be very happy, with your clean water, light, and flow.

I agree, what's even worse is thinking you setup the perfect tank, then you want to do something diffrent with it and now it is all wrong

That's what happened to me when I decided to go BB/SPS rather than SB/Softies. It's is definitally for the better though .

Thank you platypus!

Another update. The wavebox that I wanted to buy was broke. The guy who sold it tried to scr*w me, but luckily I noticed it in time. So no wavebox... (maybe in the future)

It's summer here in the Netherlands so the temperature of the tank can become too high. I build a aluminium standard for 2 large PC-fans, and attached it to the wall. It blows away the hot air from the MH, and will cool the thank by evaporation.

Today I seeded the tank with PRODIBIO Biodigest, and one piece of fresh LR. The rest of the LR will be here in a few weeks.

Looking good, Leonardo

Thanks to this thread, I added a tiny 7 to 8cm Siganus doliatus to my 120G about 3 weeks ago.

Got any updates for us?

Cool you got a Doliatus, I hope I'll have one soon...

The tank is doing very fine right now. All the liverock arrived last week. The algae bloom is over now. I already placed a Fungia wich is doing very fine.

Within two weeks I will visit a friend with a 500 Gallon tank with many SPS. I'll take home many frags then (20-25)

I'm sorry that I have no pictures of what the tank looks like right now, but my parents are in France (hollydays) and they took the camera
