Tonight it's time for a large clean. The sump will be cleaned, skimmer will be soaked in vinegar etc. I do this monthly, but I've been busy (lazy ) so it hasn't been done in 2 months. The skimmer always get a boost when I've cleaned it. All the water in the sump will be replaced.
I've also been looking at my aquascape. I think the right side is too busy. It's out of balance. Also some corals are close to the glass, and I don't want to frag them yet. I want to have colonies with the largest possible branches.
I've been testing new ideas by cutting/pasting FTS in photoshop. Maybe I will also make ajustments to the aquascape tonight.

I haven't seen them either, I thought you might have a better shot at getting them than me . But the hunt is about to begin.
For the aquascape on PS you were mentioning, check this out

My Acanthurus coeruleus is starting to lose it's juvenile colour! Behind its eyes it's becoming more blue. I'm very exited what's going to happen...
I'm still working on some re-aquascaping. I've been busy last week, so it's not progressing so fast I think it will look better then before!
I will make some pictures when I'm done

Ok Casey , I´ve just made some pictures under Actinic only. No pictures of the re-aquascaped right side yet
Also no pics of my Acanthurus coeruleus, he's a bit camera shy right now
The picture quality is not very good, because the tank is only lit with 2 T5 actinics, and no flash.

Aquascape in progress + sleepy Acanthurus
Fungia
Thanks for watching,

Thanks guys! Gman, cool that your fish is changing colour also. Do you know if this change can be caused/influenced by something (food etc.)?
Thursday I will buy some more stags, and I'm still not 100% happy with the aquascape. I'll make some pictures after that.

It's part of the natural maturing/aging process, while young they resemble some kind of centrypoge sp. angel as means of disguising themselves, evolution at its best , when maturing the angel colors fade away and the "intended" colors start to show. Kinda like the big angels that basically all look alike while they're young. Now where's that picture?

Haha, haven't been able to get a decent picture yet
I heard that some fish, I thought it were angels, somtimes don't completely change colour. They think it's missing a certain diet.
That's why I asked you if food or something else maybe can "jumpstart" the changing-proces. It's in my tank for only a month now, and it's starting to change colour.
Well, maybe it's just coincidence and not my excessive feeding every day
(is this text understandable...? )

Finally done with the changes. Bought another 2 Staghorns, Blue Tip and Green.
I also bought 2 Fungia, a Green Lobophyllia and a beautiful neon green/red Favites.
The tank is still improving. Corals grow faster, PE is better. Also the Montipora is taking off at last. Besides the Pappone feeding, I'm experimenting with additional pure (branched chain) Amino Acids and Carbon sources.
New pictures soon.
