The light are 7" off the water.
The pendant is a Aqua Medic Aquaspacelight, 24" wide. The bulbs are 6" apart from eachother. Because I made one big reflector that covers the whole pendant+the two bulbs, I have a much better lightspread now.
Heat issues are prevented by 2 6" PC-fans, that are blowing cooler air under the pendant. Also the evaporation prevents heat issues.
Here you see the pendant, plus the two 2 x 24 pendants that I mounted on. (older pics)

Thanks!
Actually, when I was looking for more fish, I was searching for more Apogons or Anthias. But when I saw these Myripristis jacobus I immediately liked them.
They are mostly nocturnal fish, so they are most active in the evening and at níght. It's really cool to see them hunt at 2 A.M. in complete darkness.
I'm thinking about using a single LED, as a moonlight. That way I can observe them better at night.

One of the best tanks I've seen. It has a simple beauty to it, very Zen.

King-Kong, don't feel inferior, my tank is far from perfect!
Hng, thanks for the compliment, I always liked the Japanese tanks. I have tried to create that Zen-look in this tank.
