Cool, I also have 10 Kg of rocks in the sump. Just as in your tank, its covered with several sorts of sponges and feather dusters.
I don't use the Micron bags all the time, because I notice that my PE is smaller in that case, I think it takes too much out in my situation (already nutrient poor).

Okay, one of the convict tangs is out. I made a deal with my LFS, that they would take the tang back. I can choose another one for it now... But I have no idea!
I'm looking for a (solitary) fish that's not very common, and is suitable for my tank, suitable for High flow, and eats a lot!
Any suggestions? Please post them
I was thinking of this fish myself: Hypoplectrus guttavarius

i'll hold my comments on the rdsb ! but glad your back on track !
as far as adding and new fish , how about adding an angelfish from the genicanthus group ? that has got to be one of my favorite groups now !
also maybe add something that will move around the bottom to keep the detritus stirred about . i found my blood hawkfish does a great job of this .as far as the hamlet goes remember that small fishes are on the palette to , plus they tend to hide .

This is the fish I have chosen for. It's a fish that lives between coral branches in the wild, so I thought it would fit perfectly in my tank!
It's a very active fish with an interesting behaviour. Always searching around for critters on the rock.
Tomorrow evening I'll pick up 6 corals, Hydnophora, Acropora and Zoanthus.
After that I'll take some new pictures.
I started with the "Blu Coral Method" last week. Also I started using "Reefers Best salt".
I see increased PE and growth is out of control.

Hmm the exams... Some went well, some didn't. Accountancy for example, didn't went so well. Law and Insurance were better. I'm studying for Real Estate Broker, Bachelor btw. Hope to work in Miami in the future
The Springer is not mine (internet pic), but he looks the same! I'll try to make a pic of him also.
Pics will be here this week.

Springeri dottyback! Very cool fish, I love mine. Him and the orchad dottyback make some intresting playmates.

Okay, just returned form picking up corals. (1 A.M. I'm tired) It was a 2 hour drive to the not so Local FS.
I bought:
Zebrasoma Flavescens (couldn't resist )
Acropora Millepora
Zoantus mixed
Pectinia Red
Unidentified Branching Acropora (UBA )
Huge Acropora Formosa Green
Big Acropora Formosa Blue/Green
Montipora Digitata Orange
A small black Urchin came on a piece of rock (for free)
Also 2 small purple Discosoma.
The corals will get their final placement tomorrow, first some sleep! I will try to make some pics tomorrow!
