Is 1/4" hdpe ok for bb?

trying to find some cheap hdpe for my 75 gal. this site http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/pro...uct%5Fid=10369
has 1/4" for cheap but 3/8" is a bit more. what is the min. thickness that is ok for a bb tank? thanks for any help

Yes, the 1/4" should be fine for you, all it is for is to protect the glass should any of the LR falls.

thanks. i was hoping i didn't need the 1/2" or 3/8", they get pretty pricey. do most people get the white color?
