Yep. I’ve had the female for over two years, and she’s doing quite well. I’ve never seen her eat anything, but she obviously finds something.

I don’t attempt to keep my 180 nearly as clean as I keep my 120, where I house all my sps. Although the flow is strong in my 180, the anemones are messy eaters, and I only have a EuroReef ES5-3 skimming my 180, compared to the Bullet 3 on my 120. There’s probably enough extra food and detritus in spots to support a reasonable pod population. I wouldn’t want to attempt to keep a mandarin in my 120. It’s just too clean an environment, and the mandarin would likely starve.

On the topic of skimmers and the Bullet-3, have you seen the new injectors? Basically the baddest arse injector on the market.

http://www.precisionmarine.com/html/injector.html

They also have a retrofit for older Bullet-2 and 3 models. My new injector will be here Tuesday so I'll definately post some pics and reviews.

Welcome aboard TBP.

Stan, I used black Starboard too and love it.
Don't get too happy though...soon it will be pink Starboard.

Before I restock my tank I may just take it out to clean.

They are home made agro crete. 5 parts crushed coral(am I allowed to say that on a BB forum?) to 1 part portland cement. One thing I would not do over is make alot of craters, they trap crap. Here is a close up of one of the rocks. It' starting to cover with corraline, and really looks natural.

clockwork- beautiful 120! my 120 is just finishing up its tiny cycle it had when I went from a 75 SSB to a 120BB with freshly cooked rock.

What are you using for flow? I'm running 2 closed loops, 1 sequence dart going out 4 1" returns and then 1 panworld 150-ps (pressure rated) powering 2 3/4" eductors then my return is a mag12 going through a scwd to alternate currents. I have 2 of the new VorTech pumps on preorder through my distributor but may put a Sea Swirl on there also. BTW I still don't think I have enough flow Those VorTech's should help out though. They will be placed on the opposite ends of the tank.

All I can say is Beutiful!

I will post some pictures as soon as I get some good whole tank shots. I only have frags I'm taking things slow. I have only recently started stocking.

Clockwork

I have been following your tank since the revision of rockwork. All I can say is either way they looked great.
