high calc reading
i tested my calc reading today and it was at 535ppm
i have a 75bb with 145lbs of lr.
only 7 turbos and 15 or so hermits
ph is at 8.3
sal is at 1.024
it is only one and a half months old
is this high calc reading going to be detrimental to the tank?

Not detrimental, but I'd also be concerned that the Alk might be real low. Normally, Ca won't stay that high, as you will get some precipitation, but if your Alk is real low that may not happen.
You could either change water or dose some buffer (if your Alk is low). You want your Alk around 7-10 DKh. As your Alk level rises, your Ca level will fall. This may cause some CaCO3 precipitation to form. I usually find precipitation happens on heaters and in the sump. Nothing to worry about as far as your tank health, but if you let it go too long it's harder to remove.

Do water changes till the Ca++ is 350 PPM and the alk is in the 7 to 8 dKH range, then start balanced supplementation from that point on. If your calcium needs supplementation , you need to be adding equal amounts of alkalinity each time. Kalkwasser will do this for you, but two part additives and the dry additives will require that you add both parts.

well, since i turned the calc reactor down and several water changes the calc has pretty much been stable, but still a little high.
the ph has consistantly stayed around 8.35 during the day and around 8.25 during the night. i am using the following instruments for testing
pinpoint ph monitor
pinpoint salinity monitor
pinpoint calcium monitor
aquarium pharm alk test kit
the calcium monitor probe was completed submerged when the power went out and the sump filled up a bit. i have cleaned it out and recalibrated it but still seems to drift a bit i have a new probe on order and should be here in a day or to
all the livestock in the tank seems to be healthy including two damsels my gf talked me into buying
