gravel

at the moment i have crushed coral on the bottom can you tell me what benifit i will get by taking this out i was thinking of replacing it with sand till i saw this forum

Crushed coral can hold a lot of fish waste (poop) and make it very hard to get out. So a BB can take a lot of the work out of cleaning your crushed coral. Thats just one of the benifits. I have a crushed coral tank so I do not know a lot of benfitis BB tanks can have.
