Going to run a little skimmer test

I am going to run a little test. I’ve been running a Bullet 3 on my 280 reef with a super high bio load. I use it to skim super wet @ 2-3 gallons per day. Based on my bioload I should likeIy have a larger skimmer. So I picked up a used ASM G4X modified to recirc. I am going to set it to skim dry but heres the fun part. My Beckett draws from a very small baffled area in my sump that both overflows feed into. The pump on the skimmer and the return are evenly matched with a slight advantage to the skimmer pump. My sump then has another chamber where the skimmer effluent flows into. I am going to place the needle wheel in that compartment so effectively it will be skimming what’s already been skimmed by the beckett. I am going to based success on skimmate production on the needlewheel as well as No3 levels in the tank. If I am skimming more I should see a drop, right?
Care to speculate on what I'll see?

interested to see the results....

It would be cool to somehow split your drain and have the two skimmers pulling out the same consistency of skimmate out of their own drains from the same tank and bioload for a week..and see just how much more the beckett does pull......

we all know it does......but how much more??

Interesting...

I like to see what happens, after a while maybe reverse the skimmers so the needlewheel is before the Bullet and see what happens.

Oh I bet the needlewheel will pick up some of what is missed and vice versa.
