You should look in the Formosa Forest thread. There's a picture there. I would like to keep this thread for my new project

Okay, time for the status of the project so far:

Equipment bought:

RE Bubble King Super Marine 250
Tunze wavebox
Tunze Multicontroller + 4x 6101 Stream
2 Tunze Nanostream 6025 (modded)
Grotech TEC III 3-channel dosing pump
Grotech single channel dosing pump
Schuran Jetstream 2 Calcium Reactor + 2 CO2 bottles
Schuran Kalkwasser Reactor
DIY GFO/GAC Reactor
Sicce Multi 5800 Return pump + one backup
3 Eheim return pumps to feed different reactors

Not bought yet:

3 Lumenarc Reflectors
3 Coralvue 400 Watt Ballasts
3 Coralvue ReefLux 400 Watt 10K SE-bulbs
2 ATI Powersafe 2x80 watt T5 Pendants
4 ATI Blue+ 80 Watt T5 Bulbs

And the tank of course

A lot is happening right now, so I haven't been very active on the boards lately.
I will graduate next month. I'm also looking for a part-time job als real estate agent, to have an income besides the study that I will start in september 2008; Marine Biology (Bachelor-Master)

This summer I'll also move to my own appartement. A whole room will be dedicated to this setup.
I'm also setting up a coral propagation project for the new room. This will be semi-professional. I'll do it for my pleasure mostly, but maybe I can cover some of the costs with the income of my business.

Good luck Leo, that equipment list is really something to behold, at least we know you won't be able to blame any of your equipment later on . JK, good luck and congrats on your upcoming graduation.

I remember that thread Gary, it turned out really well! Actually, if I may I would like to use some ideas and design for my own stand

The 600, de you mean a 600 Gallon tank? Can't wait to see that setup with your friends thread in the back of my mind.

thanks leo ! your are more than welcome to use any of those ideas , and if you need any help you know where to find me.
the 600 has me alittle scared though , as the idea of cutting out an 8 foot section of a concrete block wall does'nt thrill the misses to well !

Haha, that sounds like a big plan! I don't know how to concince the misses, don't have a lot experience with it myself

Ordered another Tunze 6201 pump today. With an Y-adapter I can plug this pump into the wave-controller of my wave box.
I think I will use one big, or two smaller custom waveboxes (with the two 6201 pumps) build in the side of the tank. I don't have to deal with that big black box in the tank that way.

what materials do you plan to use on the stand? From following your threads Im picturing your stand to be metal (steel, or stainless steel) with a tinted glass front. But I could be way off.
