Chris; it will be 3x400 watt, because they have to cover a large depth.

Thanks Gman!

I hope you guys understand that I'm not trying to be cool with the equipment posts, I just saved money for a long time and I'm very exited that I can start to buy things for the tank now

Hurry with the progress! I cant wait for this thing to start developing into the adding of coral and fish. Im sure it'll be as awesome as the 92g.

Those Japanese tanks you linked really makes me wanna go BB again in the 190.

Thanks Jflip! I could try to move faster, but I also have to graduate in between

Within a few weeks I will start building the stand. The first of may I will place the order to build the tank - I have an appointment with the builder so we can discuss some options.
After I graduate (end of april) the tank will arrive, I will break down the 92, give my room a total make-over, and start building the new setup after that. The corals and fish will be in a temporary tank in the basement.

So basically, I will collect everything I need for the setup before the end of april, and after that it's going to be assembled. Sorry, but I can't move faster now

I guess I can wait a little longer. The build should be awesome. I wont be able to finish mine for another year or so, so I will be following your build for some possible inspiration/copying.

Heck, I love equipment shots . And IMO you're doing this the right way..tanking your time getting everything before hand and just setting up.
Granted that goes against everything a "normal" reefer would do

Wow Leo, this looks pretty awesome! Love seeing your presents! Wish that Bubble King were mine, but I think I can get just as excited watching your new system come to life. My daughter graduates in May, I'm really looking forward to it, suppose to be held in Yankee Stadium.....how your doing an "upgrade" in your spare time, is really something else....exciting Spring, that's for sure!

Thanks for the reactions!

YLChik; I don't have kids yet , but I also search for used equipment on the local boards. Sometimes you find almost new equipment for a lot less money, like my Schuran Kalkwasser-reactor that I got a few days ago.

Gman; I actually like this situation. It makes me plan everything very well, something I probably would do less if I had more time. Just like you said

Jflip2002; Thanks, hope I can be an inspiration for you.

Viv; good to have you back That's some graduation, in that stadium! I think I have to settle for something smaller Graduating, makeover my room, upgrading... It will be an exiting spring for sure
