Thanks GLXTRIX!

Update: The propagation-tank has been removed from the old Formosa-Forest system. This fragtank will be used a a large RDSB for the new system. It also provides some extra Gallons.

Besides that I had a new tank custom made, a rimless 20'x20'x21' 25 Gallon cube tank. This tank will be used only as a Crypic Refugium. I already propagated several kinds of sponges in my sump. Some colonies are already quite large. I will continue with that propagation in this small cube.

Thats it for now!

Leonardo - I've always liked your tank so I'm excited to see the upgrade and follow the progress. In fact I've been selling off some of my SPS, keeping my stags and adding to them.

Final Plans:

Because of my new study I'll start I will stay a poor student for the next 5 years That means I can't affort a larger tank, esspecially when I move to my own appartement. Costs will be $ 150 an month... And that is too much.

That's why I will start a large Propagation-Forest tank. The order is already placed, so this plan is really the last one I promise!

Dimentions: 63" x 43" x 14"

Lighting: 2 x 400 Watt SE Aqua-Connect 14.000 K - in Lumenarcs on a light mover

Skimmer: BK Supermarine 250

Flow: 4 x Tunze 6101 + Tunze Wavebox

Other:

Schuran Jetstream II by-passed with 30 Gallon Vessel for much more reaction time.
Schuran Kalkwasser Reactor

Grotech TEC III 3-channel dosing pump
Grotech one channel dosing pump
DIY GAC+GFO reactor

- The hood will be force ventilated with a high capacity ventilator (to ventilate whole houses)

- capacity for over 1200 Fragments

- An additional sponge-propagation will be connected to sell as frozen food for food-specialists. (such as Angels and certain snails)

- The right side of the tank will be used to place my staghorns and will be used for the mother-colonies.

I will start building the stand soon (after my fractured knee has healed )

~Thanks for reading, Leonardo

Something about "larger tank" and a 63 foot long tank just doesn't equate in my brain....

I like the fist one too, but it might be nice to use some of the negative space on the right to add a branch or two of Formosa.
