Fighting Dinoflagellates I Think ??????????
I have a 300 gal. reef tank and 150 gal. sump ,20 gal. fug ,large reef octupus skimmer. I have a green algae on the rock and sand bed and over time little bubbles start to form as the bubbles get bigger they start to kind of peel off the bottom and float around in the water. I have my own D I water system ( 3- 20 gal tanks). My water test out about as good as it gets. About 2 months ago, I totally broke down my whole tank , sump ,and everything. I scrubed and dipped all my rock ,sand, and flushed all the piping with fresh water and bleach. I set everything back up and looked great for about 2 weeks or so then it started all over again. So i found a product called ultra algae x and it doesn't seem to be working. Does it sound like dinoflagellates or something else??
