i had to go back and look at the pics cause i was confused . but i believe your talking about the thing that looks like a big melted tootsie roll ! that was an experiment using polyester casting resin to make a place to mount the corals on the bottom . on the 180 i plan on making another one (a little more elaborate ) and using it to replace the starboard .

if you mean the sprinkler head screens then yes . i do believe that the lrs (local reef store ) does get some of his stuff from them .
